Finn O'Hara

17 year old Irish star Finn O’Hara started singing at a very young age in school choirs which initially started his passion. He wrote his first song at the age of 10 and wrote lots of small songs for fun but it was only during the pandemic when he started taking it more seriously, finished full songs and started recording them.

His new single ‘You Deserve A Better Man’ (releasing 24th June) was initially written as a track about a friend who felt she could never find the right person for her and was stuck in a situationship that was very toxic. Finn took lots of inspiration from different posts he  had seen on social media where people (girls mainly) felt they were never good enough for more than a one night stand which he found really frustrating and sad to see, giving rise to the one night stand line in the chorus.

The main message Finn wants listeners to take from this track is that everyone deserves someone better than a person who isn’t treating them right. They should be able to feel like they can have deep conversations with a person and just enjoy each other’s company excluding physical experiences.
