• Betty Boo Banksta is a Blue Grass soul/funk/hip hop Jazz and world artist from Georgia who currently lives in Atlanta, Ga. Influences include Outkast, Curtis Mayfield, Goodie Mob and The Fugees. She was a member of the Atlanta base hip hop group “Mama’s Moonshine”… On January 4 2008 they released an album with long time producer/friend grammy award winning “Neal Pogue” titled “THE LIFE AND TIMES OF BETTY BOO BANKSTA and KOODA RANG DANG.” They have performed with India Arie, Cameo, Atlantic Starr, Midnight Star, Brick, Dead Prez, Juvenile, Yelawolf and Backbone of The Dungeon Family. Mama’s Moonshine have collaborated with some of the biggest names in music such as Outkast, JT Money, Keith Sweat, MC Shy D, Lifehouse, DJ Buscemi, Sol Massiah, Ying Yang Twins, Backbone of The Dungeon Family, Davy DMX, Tariq L and Larry Blackmon of the legendary funk band “CAMEO.”

The story behind the song is that I do believe I am a Ganksta, Therefore I will never fall in love again, because I love to control the steering of my physical, mental and emotional vehicle at all times. And being in love just makes me feel out of  control. Okay maybe I am not a Ganksta but if you want to get into some gangsta shit we can get into some  Ganksta shit.
